...Man, they are so stinking hard to take photos of. I think it is because I am their mom so first they don't think they need to listen to me, second they don't listen to me, and third they get tired of having the camera in their faces all the time so they ignore it. In fact my middle child refuses to make eye contact with the camera, actually I think it is absolutely impossible for him. So after months of putting off the task of taking my kids to get some photos I finally broke down and did it. I had high hopes and maybe too high expectations because needless to say we did not get many shots. However, I did get this shot that I LOVED. There is just something about those "moments" that I can capture that make doing what I do so much more fun than just trying to capture cute smiles and perfect poses.
Its so satisfying when I can get a shot that tells a story!

You're amazing and your kids are so dang cute. I can't belive how much older Canyon looks. I love his new hair do.
